Pros
They have benefits, the company is expanding. Just like any job, if you have a good supervisor, you should not have too many issues.
Cons
-Benefits are expensive and below average. The health alone is below industry standards. I believe the company pays very little for benefits compared to other companies. -Pay is generally lower than competitors, but is variable, I believe the company leadership is paid very well. Middle and lower management not so much. -Upper management has lots of turnover so don't get attached to anyone. -If you are in Operations, there has been no COO for sometime and other departments push Operations around. Same can be said for other departments without a chief officer. -Purchasing is aggressive, often times taking a leadership role in how things should be done. This leads to a great amount of conflict on all fronts. -The new accounting team is terrible. Most of them dress unprofessionally, expense checks are slow, reports on spending are few. They were clearly much cheaper than the system previously in place. -There is always drama around any bonuses paid by the company. Annual bonuses are given out in April or May for the previous year - which is Super Slow. Of course if you are not with the company, no bonus is paid. -If you leave they will be angry and not give you your vacation pay. You must quit without notice (go on vacation and not come back) to get paid. The vacation policy was the brain child of the latest CFO and is causing issues within the company. -If you are not an HCE, 401k match is VERY low, well below industry average. I believe it is about 1/2 a percent, but it is only given based on "company performance" and varies annually.
