Animals - Cook Captain D's Employee Review

I was just fired from this place after 5 years of being a good worker by a TEXT MESSAGE because I didn't want to work on my day off. I was never late, never called out, always worked my shifts til I was sure I was done, even helped a manager do his work despite being a higher pay rate than me... I even worked some days off before(this was the first time I didn't) and never made a fuss about it. I feel like I've been punched in the gut and am just disgusted. Meanwhile the people they made managers can't even do their job or don't even want to work their shifts. Maybe I'm going out at the right time but it sure as hell sucks.
