The work environment at CKM has been challenging due to its outdated and restrictive nature. There is a significant amount of micromanagement, which greatly hinders employee autonomy and trust. This lack of independence, coupled with the absence of a proper project management system, contributes to disorganization and chaos within the workplace.
While the management means well, there is a noticeable disconnect in communication and approachability. There have been instances of condescending behavior, particularly towards external agencies and suppliers, which can be discouraging.
Moreover, the practice of requiring salaried employees to clock in and out, including for breaks, and the subsequent calculation of hours worked against a salaried contract, has led to dissatisfaction among the staff. This practice not only undermines work-life balance but also impacts morale and productivity negatively.
