      Pros

      Great boss while I worked there who allowed us to have a heart and tried to work with people through hard financial times.

      Cons

      The company was lending to people on welfare and ended up in a class action lawsuit due to their unethical business practices. Was hard to see people at such a challenging time in their lives and rarely did lending them money with such high premiums ever result in a better situation for these people. They just avoided and ignored our calls. I prefer a job in customer service where clients look forward to seeing you, not dreading it.

      Pros

      Cash Store Financial was a customer-oriented company; that offers a one-on-one customer's service building a good friendly relationship between the company and that of the client. The high-ranking officers, supervisors and managers were helpful, nice and adhere towards the company's vision and mission statements, its culture and values.

      Cons

      Cash Store Financial was sold to National Money Mart; but I stayed until the last days of its closure.

      working with clients directly and making a difference in their lives

      Cons

      having to take money from clients that have gone past due dates and hearing what that money was intended for and what they weren't able to pay due to the money being taken.
