The company operates about 570 The Cash Store and Instaloans locations across Canada offering payday and other loan services. It also has four Cash Store UK locations. Cash Store Financials doesn't fund loans but brokers them between its customers and third-party lenders. Other financial services include private-label debit and prepaid credit cards, check cashing, prepaid phone cards, and money transfers. The company also offers bank accounts in conjunction with Canadian ATM operator DirectCash Bank. Cash Store Financial was formed in 2001 as Rentcash and took its current name in 2008.
