Pros
I enjoy almost everything about working for Catalyst. Everyone I have worked with has been supportive, positive and eager to help each other. Very flexible with work hours and PTO. I have never felt micromanaged or overworked. Managers truly want to help you learn and succeed.
Cons
Unfortunately the one con is a big one for me. Medical and dental coverage is not good. High premium to have my spouse and dependents covered. Also I have learned (through dealing with providers and the insurance carrier) that companies choose every benefit that will be provided, down to very specific procedures, and Catalyst seems to have chosen the bare minimum. I am paying way more out of pocket than I ever have with an employer before, and I check with insurance almost every time I have an appointment to try to avoid surprises.
