Pros

Some of the teachers you work with are the greatest people. They are 100% there for the kids and will do anything to see them grow and enjoy learning. The kids are amazing, the parents are OK-sometimes a little too demanding, but you get some great ones that make it worthwhile.

Cons

Toxic upper management. Directors have to bend over backward to make sure they are even heard when it comes to issues while already being stretched beyond a healthy work/life balance as is. The owners are only out for themselves and don't actually care about their staff or the families/students. They take advantage and bully the employees. You get paid close to nothing. They make their benefits package look amazing, when in fact they are hardly paying you and they expect you to shower them with "thank yous" for being taken advantage of. When it comes to review/contract offer time, assume the worst, You will be told you are the most amazing teacher, and then they tell you that you don't deserve your end-of-year rewards. I left a few years ago and I still have PTSD from this place. You are treated worse than trash here.

Pros

People hired are competent; general pros around child care

Cons

- company is VERY profit driven. To an extent I have never experienced. - the owners are incredibly disconnected to what is happening in both education and parenting and are completely failing at connecting the dots at what people are wanting to see from a school -the school is embarrassing to work at because it’s so hideous -minimal to zero guidance on expectations and onboarding is rough. - sick culture is toxic: company operates on minimum ratios, refuses to sets boundaries with parents around policies and make it your problem when you inevitably get sick. -complete lack of honesty and discrepancy. Was explicitly told to hide the lottery system wages from other employees. In addition the company is clearly going under. They laid off multiple employees due to under enrollment and lied about other opening in the company to hire for less
