Great relationships with kids, but poor management practices - Anonymous employee Celebree School Employee Review

Writing this as a former employee. I would not recommend this center. I was fired with no warning, no write-ups, no conversations, and no chance to address any concerns before being terminated. I came to work every day thinking everything was fine, only to randomly receive a termination letter. One of the biggest issues at this center is the lack of communication and consistency. Concerns with staff and parents are often avoided instead of being handled directly, and employees are not held to the same standards. Some staff members are allowed to get away with things that others would be disciplined or terminated for, which creates an unfair work environment. I personally witnessed situations involving staff members appearing to be under the influence while at work, yet those concerns did not seem to be addressed with the same urgency as other issues. Rather than having honest conversations and giving employees an opportunity to improve, management seems to wait until problems become bigger issues or takes action without proper communication. Parents deserve transparency and employees deserve to be treated fairly and held to the same standards across the board. Based on my experience, I would encourage families to do their research before enrolling their children here.
