Pros

I had spent the last 18 months at Celeris Partners as a search consultant handling recruitment within the consultancy space. I have been rewarded with the opportunity to work on very exciting roles and develop a network in a space that I found very interesting. I covered Switzerland and Germany, you get the opportunity to work globally, meet talented and smart individuals. Culture - I got along with my colleagues very well and bonded many times over lunches out. No cliques, a welcoming and international culture. Management was very considerate in giving me the time necessary to build a network to start my billings. Recruitment is a sales job, There are KPI's that must be hit in order to do the job well. However, they have been very fair with numbers to be achieved on a daily/weekly/monthly and quarterly basis. There is a heavy emphasis on quality over quantity I think the business is very fair in these aspects. Sales jobs often do not come with work life balance, it was never expected of me to work over hours whilst sometimes the nature of the work means you have to.. I was able to have great work life balance and the slightly earlier finish on Friday's is always welcome. The salaries are very competitive in fact higher than market rate and you are well rewarded. I leave the business at the end of April to take on an internal recruitment opportunity that felt better suited to my skillset and where I will choose to develop further in my career. I would not have been able to do this without the experience, support and development I had gained at Celeris Partners. I am very grateful to the team and opportunity I was provided with.

Cons

Recruitment is a tough business, you are dealing with complex markets but is truly rewarding when you can impact the lives of others. Sales elements, the ups and downs that come with recruitment... that doesn't change no matter what business you are part of. Truthfully, I believe that the only con and it is still functional in fairness.. is the CRM being a little dated. A modernised recruitment CRM can take a lot of the Admin burden away and if I were to have one improvement suggestion, it would be to update this. That said, the CRM is very useable and still does what you need it to do on a basic level.

Pros

I was the first employee and I spent a couple of years there in UK, I left because for family reasons; I needed to get back to France where I pursued a Compensation and Benefits career. I see some comments below and I can confirm at 100% it is far form the reality and didn’t reflect the company culture at Celeris Partners, Most of the negative comments come from an Associate or Junior Recruiter who didn’t get through the probation period and spent less than 4 months in the company. The people are great. All here for the same reasons: To win & be the best. The Manager helps everyone meet & exceed their goals by getting in the trenches with us. I joined the company after 2 years of experience in Sales in Paris I was trained from scratch, The role was a fantastic, fast-paced environment with management that not only cares about your career success but also cares about YOU. They offer flexibility (WFH) and formidable Health Insurance for You and your family. The pay is good. They try to pay you well to make up for everything else.

Cons

There is nothing I can say of criticism. Take your time to carefully select your recruiter, you give people a real lift when they need it including myself and most of them give you a negative payback.

Pros

This role at Celeris Partners for the last 4 years (2018 -2022) offers an environment that is fast-paced, engaging, and interactive in a way that you can really miss out on by joining a establish firm. One of the best parts of the job is that the office is small in numbers (around 10 at the end of October 2022), but operates like a large firm, so you are able to be one-on-one Senior-level recruiters all-day-every-day. They offer a lot of flexibility, Some recruiters work from home 4 days per week if they don't live in Kent but overall, all the team enjoy 3 days working from home. The compensation is very competitive with a high basic salary and a clear structure commission on a quarterly and yearly basis. Additionally, management is always looking for our recommendations, or input, on company incentives to improve our lives in and out of work. I think this feature shows how valuable each employee is to them, and it makes coming to work and producing for our management team that much more rewarding. The Manager insists that everyone meet to activities quota.

Cons

There are not many negatives to this job, only that the industry itself is very cyclical. In recruiting, there are high highs and low lows. It can be difficult when a group at the office is underperforming because it affects everyone. But it comes with the territory of the industry in a small, private firm.
