Pros

The product is incredible. Truly far more advanced than what most companies will be able to wrap their heads around using.

Cons

The problem with selling a tool that's so advanced is that it's an incredibly difficult sell. There's no budget for Celonis at most companies - so most sales are like pulling at teeth. Most reps are struggling tremendously. The morale is very low. The new leadership that has recently arrived at Celonis is making drastic changes and slashing employees that have been there for numerous years. Even if the employee was excellent, they are letting them go because they believe they have better finds and want to rip & replace the older leadership. Horrible treatment of employees. There is no upwards mobility from the BDR organization in NY - In Raleigh you can move into inside sales. Management for the BDR team in NYC is extremely low-grade.

Pros

Unlimited PTO and smart people, who unfortunately are leaving.

Cons

Sales and technical teams are not always set up to succeed together, which creates unnecessary pressure on technical teams and contributes to burnout. There is a strong focus on growth, but employee retention does not receive the same attention. Compensation is not always competitive, and career advancement processes can feel inconsistent depending on the opportunities available to you. All approvals run up to founder level.
