Great team, but ultimately left due to safety concerns - Anonymous employee Center for Urban Community Service (CUCS) Employee Review

Two case workers on my team were sexually assaulted by clients within two months of each other (with one occurring in our own building) and management had no response or changes put into effect. The offending clients were kept on caseload. When I approached my superiors about my concerns for safety, I was told “this is the way things are” and “we can’t keep you safe 1000% of the time”. With that response, I knew they were not invested in staff safety and was not going to wait around for another incident to occur.
