Pros

Some helpful colleagues who understands your pain, but things are above their pay grade on what they can control.

Cons

My time at Centific was nothing short of a traumatic experience, and I feel compelled to warn others. The root of the problem lies squarely with the top-level management, specifically at the VP and Chief AI level. Their behavior creates a toxic and hostile work environment, making everyone's lives miserable. Unless serious intervention happens from above these individuals, Centific is doomed. They are hemorrhaging talent, and their reputation is rightfully tanking. Management at Centific treats employees like disposable cogs in a machine, not human beings. Expect to be treated like a slave. Weekend work is not just requested, it's demanded, with thinly veiled threats if you dare to prioritize your personal life. Deadlines are laughably unrealistic, and despite the constant pressure and long hours, hard work goes completely unappreciated. It's a culture of fear. No one dares challenge these bullies because they're all cozy with top management. Seriously, I'd rather be unemployed than endure another day at Centific. Do yourself a favor and RUN, don't walk, away from this company. Your sanity is worth more than a paycheck from this hellhole. You won't be respected here. Your family time will be stolen. The place is full of cutthroat, self-serving individuals who wouldn't care if you dropped dead at your desk, as long as their own agendas are advanced. Consider this a serious warning: Avoid Centific at all costs.

Pros

Hybrid role. Good work-life balance (no overtime). Nice coworkers and on-site management for the San Antonio location. On-site leadership actually cared for their employees and development, however, higher-ups will always have the last word. Great place to gain experience and open your eyes to bad corporate culture. Had exposure to a few different projects.

Cons

Low paying jobs. They will try to work you into the ground, compensation isn't worth it. The company relies heavily on contractors, only 5 people converted to full‑time over 1 year. The executives are sexist (yes, even in 2026). I observed gender‑biased behavior from senior leaders, if you are a woman, they will not listen to you and talk down on you. Limited transparency from leadership. Constant overnight layoffs. They fire 50% of the people every quarter. You will always be scared of losing your job [no stability at all]. They are always talking about more opportunities for growth but it's ALL LIES. Senior management and higher-ups are horrible people, they don't care about you as a person, they only care about money. I wouldn’t recommend working here to someone seeking long‑term growth or job security.
