Pros

Career progression and competitive pay for managers. Looks impressive on paper. Not worth it.

Cons

Managing staff here was awful. As a new member to the team I witnessed some truly horrible practice and had incident reports coming out of my ears, but was given no support or tools to fire problem staff. My line manager was a bully and had no self awareness or self reflective skills. I continously had my cpd training days cancelled without telling me despite this being a high needs service needing epilepsy and diabetes training. The service users were mostly miserable and it was a draining place to work. I was sexually assaulted by a predatory colleague after a month of escalating sexual harassment. I reported it immediately and was told that it was because of what I was wearing. I was not offered the opportunity to have a union rep in my meeting and it was rushed through while I was in tears. I was then told that we would have to continue working together unless I left the service, which would mean a pay cut and demotion from my position. Ultimately I left because of the depression and anxiety caused by this incident. This experience left me with lasting trauma.

Hello, We are sorry to hear about your experiences, and we are particularly saddened to hear the harassment you say you experienced. This is not something that we were aware of centrally; we have a zero tolerance approach to discrimination. We would welcome you making contact to discuss this further, so that we can investigate. Please contact us via communications@certitude.london. Without knowing any detail of where you worked or your personal experience, we would like to reassure you that we do value our staff, we have continued to improve our reward package in recent years including again this year, despite the difficult economic climate as we recognise the importance of rewarding our staff. Our turnover levels are low, particularly against the sector benchmark and whilst we do have bank workers, we do not operate zero hours contracts and encourage staff to have a permanent role unless bank work is their preference for personal reasons. Thank you, we hope to hear back from you.
