We appreciate your taking the time to share your experience at Checkwriters. It’s great to hear that you’ve enjoyed aspects of our onboarding process, our people, and the work environment.
We’d also like to address your concerns. Open communication is important at Checkwriters, and we encourage employees to share feedback with leadership. While not every idea can be implemented, many recent initiatives have come directly from employee input.
Leadership and Culture:
Checkwriters is a privately-held company with a leadership team of about 18, three of whom are from the same family. We strive to ensure decision-making is based on collaboration and what’s best for both our employees and the company as a whole. Importantly, being a family-owned organization is viewed positively by the majority of our employees and a significant reason for choosing to work here over more corporate options!
Podcast and Company Policies:
Two of our managers host the 'HR Leaders Lounge' - a popular video podcast in the HR, Business, and Leadership space. The show covers trending and newsworthy topics impacting business leaders. While some discussions may spark debate, the goal is to cover relevant topics in an engaging, 'edutainment' style, not dictate Checkwriters’ policies.
Remote Work at Checkwriters:
We value our remote employees and appreciate their significant contributions to our organization over the years. Many have been with us for over a decade. While remote work is a hot topic in the business world and often discussed on the podcast, it does not reflect Checkwriters’ stance on valuing employees who work remotely.
