Pros

None. Zero. No pros. Not one.

Cons

Do not work here. Do not be a client here. Business model is unstable and unrealistic they promise services to clients but are unable to deliver leaving their front line employees to take the backlash. No pipeline of work. They plan on buying good companies with established clients to save their failing business instead of fixing their main issues of TERRIBLE upper management. Highly unprofessional and incompetent leaders of the company constantly berate and tear down staff. The CEO belittles, insults and yells at his wife the COO all the time. What an abusive relationship! It is truly sick! They make employees cry. The executive team LIES all the time. You can have paper trails to prove what is true & what is not but it won't matter. What the CEO says is law. One day he wants it this way so you do it that way, the next day he yells at you for doing it that way. INSANITY!!! And the president has her nose so far up his behind that you won't be getting any help from her! On any given day the CEO can show a multitude of different personalities. Company function with alcohol? The CEO will be staggering, sloppy, pathetically drunk before you know it. In front of staff, clients and his own children. So drunk. So stoned. And so proud of it. Disgusting! They fired 6 people TWO WEEKS before Christmas then held a company wide meeting where some staff members were still crying over their teammates being fired and said "don't worry you'll still get your raises and bonuses and we are still having our holiday dinner this week". Heartless. Classless. (BTW no one got their full bonus in 2019). When some people didn't feel up to attending the dinner the CEO threatened their jobs so loudly everyone heard him yelling. Everyone always hears him yelling. Yelling at his wife the COO, yelling at his EA, yelling at the office manager, yelling at the junior staff, yelling at the senior managers, yelling at pigeons, rainbows and puppies. Yelling. Screaming. Cursing. Throwing fits. Have you ever seen a 50 year old man throw a full on tantrum? Where the whole office stops and stares? Then drops their eyes to their shoes to avoid his wrath? You will at ChizComm! Stay far away. Do not make eye contact. Back away slowly. This place is HELL ON EARTH.

Although this review is filled with false and slanderous information, we have decided that we did not want to leave this review unaddressed. As a ‘current employee’, we recommend that you give serious thought to your employment at ChizComm. As an employee for ‘more than a year’, it is unfortunate that you feel the need to continue to work at a company that you regard so poorly. We value our staff and our clients and are dedicated to ensuring a positive work culture, outstanding client results and making strong business decisions. It is unfortunate that any negative sentiment you feel towards the company has translated into the slanderous and utterly false accusations and storytelling that you have shared in your review. We do hope that you can focus on your career development with a company that is aligned with your values, and that we have equipped you with valuable experience and skills that will serve you in future professional opportunities.

Pros

ChizComm is a dynamic place to work where you get to wear many hats. There is a team approach from the top down and the executives are just as involved as any other team member in helping to meet goals, providing clients with excellent service and creating an environment where everyone takes on challenges and wins together. There isn't a feeling of layers or levels, of course there are managers and executives but you always have a voice, have direct access to anyone and everyone in the company. Lots of visibility and opportunities to shine. No drama or petty politics.

Cons

Heavy workloads. Work/life balance can be tough.
