Pros
Steady paycheck Opportunities to move across departments, mostly laterally. Leave policies are fairly generous. While not as good as they once were, decent benefits, particularly vision insurance. For the most part direct Unit Managers are supportive and work to empower agents
Cons
Despite already having poor pay compared to competitors, upper management is constantly cost cutting, customer service roles are consistently sent offshore despite protests from both customers and internal agents, Very little opportunities for promotion, Culture has fallen by the wayside, with very little reward for volunteerism or employee excellence. Insurance costs continue to rise each year while merit raises don't even cover the extra cost. Poor training policies and poor IT infastructure.
