Senior leadership teams who have a blame culture and are outdated in their views and working practices. Pendulum swings of decisions with no accountability being held by those who have made it or even worse those who put them in that position. Mistakes are made time and time again across and internally within brands. Turning a blind eye to the mistakes being made and deflecting to others to protect themselves. Management befriend those and form cliques to protect themselves for any implication of wrong doing. Zero reward for high performance. No pay-rises / no bonus - and when it was in place and achieved changed less then two months before it was due to be annualised. HR team who have as high a turnover as any department except for 3-4 key individuals protected by their “friends” in high places. They are keener than most to stir up and create bedlam and drama within the teams with little to no support for those who need it and hold no accountability for mistakes they make. Encourage a blame and finger pointing culture and do not represent the so called SHIRT values. A CEO who is out of date and has allowed people to manage departments who are not capable and have led the business to the position it is in. Will not listen to feedback and allows experts and high performers to leave the business at the protection of this close to him. Still believes the business is what it was 15-20yrs ago and has not moved with the times.
