Cityblock's mission to bring equity to the healthcare environment is admirable and a mission worth pursuing. You can bring your whole being to work to take care of the people who need it most, and have access to it the least. The company does tend toward hiring local people for in person work. We are able to establish trust with our members, I think, more easily. Salary for APPs is quite a bit above median for this geo.

Frequent change and fragmented communication, along with hasty and incomplete training make for confusion at all levels. There is distrust of the C-suite, right now, secondary to the sudden reorganization of the company in March 2026. For a company committed to health care equity, I think our employee insurance can be cumbersome.
