Pros
Flex time is a new-hires (really any-hires) best friend. The ability to have the flexibility of a 3 day weekend in your pocket any month without worrying about taking PTO is amazing.
The support that Clarke gives to a new employee, or at least one working at Eli Lilly, has been pretty helpful. The efforts put forth to make the Clarke engineers interact outside of work, like the quarterly lunches or other events, are appreciated.
The people at Clarke are really great. I enjoy my Clarke coworkers at Lilly a lot; a really great bunch of folks
Cons
The job had a large lag time getting into position, then getting a project. For the first two months of employment or so, I was at maybe 10 hrs a week of work, not having any real project to directly work on between bouts of helping with testing. Eventually I got a full time project that got the position into gear, but the lag time wasn't great. This isn't to blame Clarke, it's could be just the nature of the position.
