Pros

It was a very easy job, they will train you on everything that you need to know. Fast pace environment, which makes the day go by quick.

Cons

I experienced some discrimination due to the fact that I was pregnant and African American. I was full time and never/ wasn’t allowed to have a set day off for my prenatal appointments. That lead me to miss majority of my appointments. I wasn’t the only person pregnant in the branch that I was working in. My coworker was pregnant full time and got catered to, plus a set day off for her appointments. There would be minor Incidents where I would enter the wrong code sequence for a transaction and would need help afterwards. They would talk to me like I was stupid and also yell at me. When it came to my other coworkers with a similar incident, the manager would handle them with tender love and care. The only difference between me and my coworkers was our skin color.

Pros

There is so much opportunity to grow throughout the company if you put the work in! They are willing and able to support you and guide you to achieve your goals.

Cons

I see current employees not willing to adapt to change. This does bring morale down for the company as a whole.

Pros

Senior leadership only cares about growing as fast as possible. As a result, budgets are getting cut, and the pressure is constant to create new fees to charge our members.

Cons

The company doesn't truly care about their customers. They are only concerned with growing too fast and trying to be a big bank. These ambitious goals are now affecting the employees.
