Pros

Everyone besides management is wonderful, really skilled and knowledgeable about the ad tech industry and willing to help you. The product is actually cutting edge.

Cons

Management is terrible here, HR is basically non-existent and work life balance might as well be a whisper on the wind. I can tell you for certain that some of these anonymous five star reviews are written by people in the C-Suite trying to keep the ratings of the company up. Claims about "no bureaucracy" and " lots of structure" are straight up lying. There's plenty of red tape and bureaucracy to be found here and absolutely zero structure. Multiple employees who have been here for years are essentially in dead-end positions with no promotions on the horizon because they are stingy with promotions and raises and there is no formal process in place for who gets them. "Priorities shifting quickly" is code for everyone is spread thin, we have no roadmap to success, we are coming up with ideas on the fly and if it's too overwhelming for you, no help is coming - suffer or get put on a PIP that is actually just a firing or layoff waiting to happen. You will also get very little guidance from the people who are supposed to be your managers. You are on your own here. If you are reading this because you are thinking of applying for a position and the thought crosses your mind that only bad employees leave negative reviews and it can't be that bad, please reconsider. It truly is that bad. Would not wish working here on my worst enemy.

Pros

Clinch is filled with smart, kind, and talented people who genuinely enjoy collaborating and supporting one another. The work-life balance is strong, and I've always felt supported when personal matters, family commitments, or doctor's appointments come up. No two days are the same, which keeps the work interesting and provides plenty of opportunities to learn and grow. One of the biggest advantages is that the product truly delivers for clients and is constantly evolving to keep pace with industry changes and customer needs. The company also does a great job fostering connection across a global workforce. HR is thoughtful and creative in bringing together remote and in-office employees through virtual events, company initiatives, and team-building opportunities. Most importantly, I feel recognized and appreciated for my contributions. Hard work doesn't go unnoticed, and there's a genuine culture of support, collaboration, and respect.

Cons

As a growing company, success at Clinch requires a high degree of self-motivation and adaptability. Employees are often encouraged to learn new tools, take ownership of projects, and wear multiple hats as business needs evolve. While this creates great opportunities for professional growth and exposure to different areas of the business, it may not be the right fit for someone who prefers highly structured roles with narrowly defined responsibilities.
