Pros

Great team, fun culture, and very engaging work. You are directly contributing to client strategy and get to work directly with c-level contacts regularly with some of your customers

Cons

Complex role with a lot of moving parts. Like many CSM jobs it can be hard to influence outcomes with some difficult clients

Pros

When going through an interview process you think you get to see the best you'll see- they are recruiting you! But I can confidently say that working at Clozd somehow surpassed the interview process. This company is great in so many ways. First is the people- they are just great people. Kind, hardworking, and very intelligent. Second is the technology- it works very well. Third are the customers- we have some of the biggest brands in the world using us to drive decision intelligence. I had worked for 4 other great brands in my 20 year career and this one has hands down the absolute best culture. The sky is the limit.

Cons

In a series A there are things to figure out- coming from a larger company it is evident.

Pros

They hire amazing people. I met the best and brightest people and worked alongside them.

Cons

The program management role at Clozd is incredibly challenging. The team's leadership is a significant pain point. The department is led by a micromanager whose approach relies more on fear than on building others up. While he is a genuinely wonderful person on a personal level, his lack of trust in his employees severely limits his ability to recognize and develop the greatness within his team. Also, the way the leadership handles employee transitions is highly concerning. Once an employee has run their course or decides to move on, they are treated like dead weight or outcasts. This lack of respect, combined with heavy workloads, high stress, and constant uncontrollable variables, has resulted in severe team burnout. The team's morale is significantly affected by the poor treatment of departing colleagues.
