Pros

The members I interacted with.

Cons

As the headline says, corporate and ownership only care about numbers and not the people. While every franchise is individually owned, there is a corporate office. Corporate doesn't care what anyone's experiences is in the workforce, as long as the owner has the check to cut. When I was hired as general manager before grand opening we already had 300 plus members and by the time grand opening came in, the studio was considered nearly profitable already. In the beginning, the studio had some setbacks with an opening date that was 6 months delayed. So even though we were profitable, the owner decided to dissolve the GM position while I was on my way to work one morning. The owner had family member in the "HR" position and a sales executive in California who came across as a manager and it just seemed to be too many management figures. There were sales techniques used by the sales exec that I was roped into trying to work out. A list of big promises just to make the sale. I didn't like that one bit. Instead of effectively communicating a strategy to overcome some minor bumps we had, my position was dissolved and I was laid off. Lesson learned, I will stay away from any Xponential brand.

Pros

Great work life balance, manager is very flexible, you earn commissions on sales.

Cons

Lots of random check ins from Regional management which focuses on silly things like if the front door mat is vacuumed multiple times a day and such.
