Lines of communication are slow Shifts vary Frequent shoplifters No screens or protection behind the till meaning you can easily contract illnesses or viruses More staff needed Security guard needed

We recommend that you raise some of your concerns with your manager, many of these can be resolved in store, but others may need more resource and discussion but your manager can best advise on what is being done to support colleague safety in your store.

Pros

Team got on well, hours weren't particularly harsh (pay not particularly impressive either)

Cons

Overworked due to corporate ruthlessly cutting hours (while hiring more staff?), generally piling on more and more work to the store team without considering time constraints, absolutely no opportunity for advancement while a store manager is already there
