I wish I had nicer things to say about this place but unfortunately, I do not: There is zero structure in place and it feels like no one knows what they’re doing. Upper management DO NOT trust the people that are hired and micromanage absolutely every project. Projects are extremely delayed or just not launched because of this. Mancom will complain about exco on calls and say things like ‘oh you know how [INSERT CEO NAME] is’, but won’t push back against anything he says. Despite being an African organisation, there is Zero diversity in upper management. They say all the right things about mental health but put zero effort into actually being sensitive towards or caring for employees. Salaries are low and there are no bonuses and no benefits. You’re only given a raise if you ask for it, and you have to take on more responsibility to get it. Employees are expected to be jack of all trades. Your annual leave does NOT roll over to the next year.
