Pros
- Fun happy hours/after work activities - Some of the people you work with can be very fun and energetic (can also be overly competitive and exhausting). - You are working with people your same age (21-24).
Cons
- NO work life balance (Arrive at 8, expected to stay until 6PM and eat lunch at desk) - Extreme competitiveness that creates a very hostile and toxic environment. - Based entirely on numbers. You are just a number when it comes to Collabera, and if your numbers are 100% (despite your quality of candidates you are recruiting) you are not considered for promotion and are put on the spot and shamed during weekly "numbers meetings." - Extremely passive-aggressive management style. Constant gossip between managers, "he said/she said," false rumors, and extreme pettiness. - There is no loyalty between co-workers, managers, or even client relationships (constantly reprimanded by clientele for overstepping boundaries). - Co-workers/mangers will backstab you in order to advance themselves. - Extreme favoritism in the office. - Many issues with payroll and being paid on time. - Terrible benefits. - VERY high turnover rate. - No real training (even though they hire from any background). - Very cliquey, frat-like environment filled with superficiality. - People at the highest levels, including recruiters identify candidates by the way they look and how fun they appear to be. -If you do not meet their ludicrous expectations, you are put down and made fun of. -Excelling in the role is essentially a popularity contest.
