      Pros

      Pleasant work environment. Friendly coworkers. Excellent benefits. Some managers and supervisors are excellent mentors. University area is full of interesting activities/restaurants/etc.

      Cons

      Lots of people don't pull their weight, which is OK since many areas are overstaffed. Salaries are very not standardized--be sure to negotiate well and do your research before accepting a number if hired

      Pros

      My job with the Columbia Population Research Center is fully remote, which is a great perk. I can also create my own schedule and work any day of the week.

      The pay could be better.

      The work when I had it was amazing, I really appreciated it for what it gave me.

      Cons

      Unfortunately, with the change in management came zero transparency and rules for thee, not for me. It's led to really weird decisions.
