Pros

Flexibility with scheduling is nice. They almost always have someone who needs care at any given time.

Cons

They lack communication. You would often find out clients canceled last minute when you already drove to their location, which is a problem due to no gas reimbursement. Or they would change your clients last minute and instead if having a 5 minute drive to your next client you would have a 20 minute drive. You don't have enough time to eat in between clients and jobs unless you eat while you're driving to and from clients. I would often be thrown into homes that had active horders living in them with NO WARNING. I often felt blind sided and not properly prepared for the living conditions I would be entering.

Pros

Great pay and benefit opportunities. The message of the company is good and the owners are incredibly welcoming. They provided all the equipment and were quick to get you whatever you needed.

Cons

The office environment was extremely toxic. It was very "cliche" with everyone saying awful things about each other. Yelling, slamming and throwing things was a regular occurrence. The lack of empathy towards the clients as well as caregivers was abhorrent. The training was lackluster with the view of corrective action instead of preventive action with mistakes. I was constantly ignored or snapped at when asking questions. After spending a day training at another office, I fully believe the toxicity is centered around this one office in particular and does not translate over to the other offices.
