Pros

Salary is good 25 days annual leave Colleagues are great That’s about it!

Cons

- Working from home has been fully removed, apparently because we are more ‘productive’ but it’s just another excuse to get more control over their staff and micromanage them even more. Even if you ask to hybrid work for genuine health reasons it’s completely disregarded and they don’t care. - Micromanagement to the extreme, you will have managers breathing down your neck day in day out - targets are totally unrealistic, if you don’t hit target they don’t listen to why the will just blame you and are only interested in numbers. - the workplace is such a toxic environment and management are nodding ‘yes people’ that will put ceo approval and recognition over their teams well-being - No care for your well being and no work life balance - High staff turnover, it’s like a revolving door, there are very few staff that have been with the company long term. It’s been this way for years and they can’t seem to understand why? If they listened to their staff perhaps they would realise why people are so unhappy there. - Fees we charge are embarrassingly expensive If you are a yes person that will follow every unrealistic demand then this is the job for you, however they will chew you up and spit you out with no care at all

Pros

A great business that is one of few to offer opportunity to complete beginners, that said you need to be a good person and work hard, which is fair enough. If you want to get your CeMAP and gain exposure to the FS industry it's a great firm to get a foot in and progress with them or move on if the hierarchy proves to inevitably become an out of touch dictatorship with no regard for those who do the donkey work.

Cons

It's a very unique organisation where the Director is seen as a bit of a hero, however he is completely out of touch with the day to day, refuses to adapt to any other way other than his own famously in the bath thoughts, when he should take more stock from those doing the job and working with the teams day in day out, unfortunately however he has created a culture of management puppets who are afraid to argue any of his ideas and resort to just nodding their heads and going along with whatever hair brained scheme he's most recently come up with.
