Pros
Good benefits, clean building, easy hiring process.
Cons
Management could care less what was going on. I was so excited to start here and really looking forward to this job. I quickly realized during my training that everyone was in the “clique” and if you weren’t in the “clique” they wanted you out so that they could get someone that they knew hired. It seemed like everyone was related to everyone in someway or another whether you were a CNA, custodian, kitchen staff. They played favorites. I watched a CNA get a $4000 bonus right at Christmas to go towards a down payment for a car. This gift was given to her by a residents family. We were told in training we were not to accept gifts whatsoever from families. But nobody did anything. I got fired for being sick one day but yet I watched somebody show up hours late on Christmas after I missed Christmas with my kids to work short staffed. All in all an awful place to work. Management needs to do better.
