Pros

Feel good about the mission, good coworkers

Cons

There’s no growth opportunities, the few good leaders I’ve seen in my time here have been driven out by restructuring, operations staff are run ragged, turnover is wicked high in operations and high across the board, culture is rough, change initiatives (culture, processes) are shot down, there’s rumors about a “conflict of interest” happening within executive leadership, leadership can’t help but to jump onto any shiny new toys of the industry wanting to be at the front of the line instead of waiting to see if the new tech is worth it from other centers that have the money to spare (because we sure don’t), I could go on.

Pros

Good pay, friendly work culture, lots of opportunities for advancement, help save lives every day

Cons

Many positions do require a flexible work schedule (to cover weekend blood drives, also the laboratory is staffed 24/7)

Pros

Great team of individuals to work with.

Cons

Lack of training from the get go. When asked for training or additional understanding of the role, was told to "just do it and you'll understand it." Theres a severe lack of understanding of the role and how to accomplish the tasks needed.
