Pros

Mission orientated company that is doing real good in the community. Team full of kind, intelligent, & professional people. Leadership team that is open to feedback and is actively working to make things better for staff. Generous retirement plan. I contribute 5% of my pay and get a 10% contribution from the company. Significant career growth opportunities and promotions from within. Most importantly, the biggest complaints I had when starting here have been addressed and/or changed, meaning things are actually improving over time.

Cons

Tendency of leaders to move quickly from priority to priority means it can be tough to get everything done. Low quality IT and Facilities infrastructure means things don't always work right. Not enough PTO with only 15 days annually for both vacation and sick time combined.

Pros

403(b) plan, patients, some staff

Cons

Pay, toxic environment, PTO, administration. Community Clinic presents itself as a caring FQHC that specializes in public/community health. Unfortunately, that is not the case. This is a small, private organization attempting to operate as a large corporation with no regard to the quality of life of their employees. Care Teams are given unrealistic expectations to see complex, high acuity patients in 15 minutes or less (20 - 30 pts/day). Thus, the quality of care for patients suffers as well. Administration's focus is on increasing revenue and specific marginalized communities that they can profit from. Community Clinic has a high turnover rate with a well-known negative reputation amongst external healthcare entities in Northwest Arkansas. Ido not recommend working for this organization if you want a positive experience in a public/community health setting.

We’re sorry to hear that your experience at Community Clinic did not reflect the supportive environment we strive to provide. Working in a Community Health Center can be demanding, and we recognize the challenges of balancing access, quality, and sustainability. We take concerns about workload, well-being, and culture seriously and are continually evaluating staffing models, compensation, and internal processes to better support our team. As a nonprofit, our revenue is re-invested into patient care, our employees, and community programs. Employee feedback is essential to helping us improve, and we appreciate you sharing your perspective. We welcome further dialogue through Glassdoor messages or directly via email as we continue working to strengthen our workplace environment.
