      Pros

      Pay and benefits were great depending on the department. I was part of a great team. Everyone worked together, especially during the last year of CommunityOne during the merger and integration process.

      Cons

      Working in the banking industry is very risky considering the way banks are being acquired these days.

      Pros

      An actual community bank. Employees are allowed a lot of autonomy. The management team is wonderful. Every employee is well trained and the customers are even better! Very inexpensive account options.

      Cons

      Recent purchase by Capital Bank may bring some changes. Slow processes on some loan products. Short staffing in most branches with very small rover staff recently.
