Pros
Career opportunities for people who want to move up, especially within branch environments.
Cons
I don't even know where to begin. When I first came to CACU I was so excited because it had been named a Best Places to Work in Kansas City. As soon as I got my foot in the door I realized what a whirlwind this place was. The turnover is pretty high and towards the end of my time there, many upper leadership positions were being "eliminated" but they made it look like the person had chosen to leave. These were people who had been at the company for several years and had served it well. You only seem to get anywhere with this place if you are friends with the CEO or Chief People Officer. HR is a waste of time. There is constant turnover, people are always leaving or getting fired in HR, and it's hard to get anyone to answer or return your calls. It's like the clash of the Machiavellian Leaders in executive level management. You're either doing things their way, and don't you ever question it, or you're out. CACU is actually the worst place I have ever worked. I have never had to work somewhere where I had to watch my own back within my own department, so as to avoid someone telling on me for insignificant things. I would refrain from working here if you truly wanted to gain and benefit from a compassionate, caring, empathetic work environment.
