Pros

-Good insurance and retirement benefits -Newly renovated office, however, see cons -Strong core product and international presence -Average pay -Clean and safe working environment -Free coffee all day

Cons

-Senior management lacks the knowledge to grow a company. Furthermore, and more importantly, they lack the desire to learn how to grow a business. -A "Goal Deployment Process" or GDP is the only strategy which is developed a few weeks before the new year, in a bubble with little to no involvement of lower management. -Business systems & processes are based on poor adaptations of old school automotive, the same automotive industry that took a huge bailout a few years ago. -Nearly zero spent on IT infrastructure; IT department doesn't keep up with modern developments. -"Engineering" is generally done by non degree holding "designers" while degree holding engineers make presentations to pass ambiguous "NPI Gates" or figure out how to over complicate things. -NPI (or "New Product Introduction") process is outdated and only loosely followed, often gates are passed and approved solely by the engineering manager (or "Global Technology Director" or what ever his title is today) -"Quality" is poor and takes a lackadaisical approach taught by one of the worst companies, of the worst time for automotive quality in the last 30 years. -The office was recently renovated and everything is gray. The lack of color will suck the life out of anyone. -Very little room for growth -PE firm is very detached, often going nearly a year between visits. They and senior management spend most of their time giving and viewing presentations attempting to spin poor performance. -Not Millennial friendly -Somewhat sexist attitude -- only female phone operators and only women from other departments are asked to answer the phone. Woman's bathroom is clean while the men's room is a wreck. -Non value add divisions (IT, HR, etc) don't report up though the CFO like a normal company. This goofy reporting structure unnecessarily burdens other directors. -HR staff answers the phone rather than perform HR functions, so the hiring process is slow and generate poor quality candidates.
