Pros
Connect Humanity works on a critically important issue (expanding internet access) with a very clear sense of how it can contribute within the broader ecosystem (increase capital for community-driven broadband initiatives). It is a highly motivating place to work, with skilled, supportive colleagues all moving in the same direction. The pay and benefits are strong, particularly for the non-profit sector. Culture is high-trust, flexible, and open. One of the best professional experiences I've had.
Cons
Fully-remote organization yet to have a full-team retreat. Makes it hard to build some of those close personal bonds with colleagues. It's a start-up so the inevitable iteration to refine working models and projects can be unsettling and has meant some churn in employees.
