Pros

Benefits and free snacks

Cons

First, I have never had a company screw up so many of my paychecks. I repeatedly missed out on holiday pay because of a “glitch” and they can’t just cut you a check for those hours. No, you have to wait until the next pay cycle to get paid for those days. One of my co-workers missed out on getting an entire paycheck and had to wait until the next pay cycle to receive that pay. He actually went a month without any pay. Do they not understand people have bills and rent to pay? Second, whether you have a good experience has a lot to do with whatever team you are on. I went from a toxic environment to an encouraging one. I experienced managers/supervisors who barely spoke to you (unless you did something wrong) to a manger/supervisor who constantly gave you positive feedback and enjoyed communicating with their team. There are people in leadership here who aren’t very good at it and can be rather condescending and never give people credit for going above and beyond the call of duty, but they will call you out if they think you’ve done something wrong. There are certain co-workers who admit to being lazy and working as little as possible. And get away with it. While others are written up for not completing a certain number of cases per day. There is nothing like having to work mandatory OT just to meet your quota only to have the person next to you play on the internet all day, in full view, without any consequences, all because they brownnose and joke around with management. I love the team I was on when I left. But even if you like your team, you may not stay on that team forever. This company moves employees around from team to team depending on “business needs” so don’t get too cozy. I have also never seen a company fire so many people. One lady was fired for taking PTO to take care of her sick mother, because you’re not allowed to take any PTO your first 90 days. However, the funny thing is that most people, including managers, didn’t even know that rule existed. My entire team was taking PTO during our first 90 days so technically we all should have been fired. Guess it was a good thing my manager/supervisor didn’t know about that rule. Maybe they’d know about it if there was an employee handbook available. Yeah, there isn’t one. Well, there is, but nobody has ever seen it because they haven’t put it up on the website for people to see. They say that is because it is still being reviewed by legal. Legal has been reviewing it for a year now. I guess that says a lot when you have legal taking a year to review an employee handbook. And if you run out of PTO and something happens and you have to take a day off, you could be fired. They don’t care if you were in the hospital. Yes, the benefits are amazing, but my mental health is more important. It’s difficult to work for a company where you never know what is going on because every team seems to play by certain rules. And even on that team, sometimes the managers/supervisors are both telling you something different. Nothing like your manager telling you that you can use flex time only to have your supervisor say no, you can’t use flex time. Well, which is it??? A co-worker tried to explain her concerns with our supervisor only to be told if she doesn’t like how things are run, she can leave. Then you wonder why there is low morale. They also love hiring outside the company. Good luck trying to move up. They are growing by leaps and bounds, but they are growing so fast, IMO, it is out of control. Be cautious when working here. At first I thought it was great but it went downhill fast. I had 3 supervisors in 6 months. Another team went through 7 supervisors in 5 months. That tell you something?

Pros

Teams are collaborative - coworkers are knowledgeable and you are able to work together to excel at your job. Great feed back from peers. Your experience is transferable to other positions or companies - equipment is not too outdated - they use jobforce CRM and other updated technologies - Hybrid - They have training on all levels that really assist in personal development and career development.

Cons

Management is often promoted internal without experience or consideration as to how they interact with their team members. Upper management is anywhere from providing opportunities to being exceptionally out of touch. It is surprising how often upper management is inexperienced, The insecurities of those kinds of managers it make it hard to have a collaborative effort to get things done. Communication is shut down quickly with no resolution "just shut up and you are the problem attitude" instead having a desire to understand the situation and attempting to work together for the benefit of all.

Pros

There are some really good people here.

Cons

They punish hard workers with relocations to new teams and act like it's a promotion or a recognition of achievement. They advertise a hybrid schedule but each time you're moved to a new team they take it away and it resets again til when they feel you're okay to resume. The team changes can happen multiple times a year. Someone in the same position can get paid to do less work than someone who is given 5 times the workload. There is favoritism. I have been told not to discuss wages even though that is illegal. Time has been removed from my timesheet to accommodate only 40 hours, even if you work a couple minutes over. You are expected to be logged in and ready for your shift by the time your shift starts, and you are not paid for the time to log in and be ready. There is a 7 minute "grace period" where they don't pay you for the time and round up or down depending on where you are in that 7 minute period. Raises are not even enough for a standard of living increase. Recognition is far and few between.
