- They promote unqualified people due to social status within the company, not skill set or performance - company culture is not inclusive for minorities - they mostly only hire them as servers - work life balance is not a priority, last minute requests are normalized - no upward mobility within departments, whoever is manager stays for years and the employees underneath revolve around them - leadership has no vision - CEO changes every year
