Pros
- Benefits and Compensation
- Employee bonus and profit sharing

- Growth and market potential
- Ability to stay with your division and product if your business/software is acquired
- Career opportunities if you are already on the path prior to acquisition - following acquisition your position is very well determined and set
Cons
- Executive management is horrible - One executive does not want to run operations or knows how to do so. He only wants to buy companies and review the numbers. Everyone as he sees it is a number that is negatively affecting his bottom line. Another manager is way over his head in his responsibilities and knowledge. He obtained this job due to nepotism and has F'd up many a good homebuilding software along the way.
- Career path is non-existent for current employees
- Profit is the primary goal which hurts the products at times.
- Very low confidence in the sales teams
