Pros

Pay is decent if you do not have a family and can work long hours. Technicians have huge opportunities for training and advancements. Health benefits are expensive but company does offer HSA and other benefits. Very diverse and most jobs inside of the dealership are team oriented. Significant bonuses are available if you are fortunate to work for one of the better dealerships within Continental. The experienced gained is highly sought after in the automotive field and essentially worth despising your job currently. It is a great company to work for if you plan on being a short term (one to two years) employee and not looking for advancement within the company.

Cons

Pay scales are asinine, pay for service advisors and sales people is significantly lower than other dealerships. Lots of resistance to change, higher ups will recognize a problem then continue on with the same course of action. Each dealership has issues with favoritism and conflicts of interest (clique oriented). Training is minuscule and left to whoever has the most free time, there is a high chance someone incompetent will be performing training. The rest of the learning process is left up to the trainee and there are consequences if you are not up to speed fast enough. Most of the employees that have been with the company 5+ years in certain departments are stagnant and coddled by upper management (causing new employees to defer to other dealerships or jobs within the company).
