Pros

None, all the other plants in the area are better and at least pretend to care about their employees.

Cons

There are so many I don't even know where to start, #1 is favoritism for promotions. If you're hispanic you could go far here, anyone else good luck. All of upper management are idiots, they'll know something isn't working and even if its physically hurting people they'll tell them to suck it up. If you're not salary, they won't even let you into the office area because you don't matter to them. If you want to talk to HR I wouldn't because they're not there for you, they're only there to make sure you don't get the company in trouble. Don't bother applying here unless you like being covered in horrible itchy fiberglass, cooked in the summer, frozen in the winter and being made to work until you drop because you get pointed for calling in sick even if you have a doctors note.

Pros

Company is always striving to take on more business and stay ahead of the innovation curve. Strong R&D team developing new materials constantly, and supporting plants as needed. Salary is fair.

Cons

Lack of diversity present in upper management/executive teams of the corporate team and plants. Some plants have a "good ole boy" feel with the management teams that are hiring from within. Bonuses would be nice, and/or an improved raise system. Some plants need drastic upgrades to tools/presses/machinery/systems that are being ignored.

Pros

Safety training and enforcement of PPE, providing cold bottled water in coolers during hot months as press side is over 110-113 degrees if it's above 90 outside. Posting ample bid opportunities and allowing even probationary employees to sign bids to move job classifications.

Cons

While I was there having consistent management that communicates across areas or even shifts did not exist. Allowing bosses male and female to flirt, harass, or just sleep with floor employees on multiple occasions be it supervisors or coordinators. Having adequate time to use the restroom refill water and eat on breaks is often difficult, not impossible if you walk fast but difficult especially for smokers. As a former smoker and then who quit I had absolutely no time to sit still on my breaks unless I cut out some of my routine. Women's bathrooms were always flooded with toilet water from employees flushing things they shouldn't. Definite drug activity on property.
