Pros

Wfh, equipment provided, work stipend

Cons

They want to pay you to do 4 different jobs for 1 salary. Usually in health INSURANCE there is a claims department, authorization department, benefits department and customer care. But at corvel you are required to do all departments, assist other departments when necessary and the pto is only 2 weeks here opposed to 3 weeks at other companies. Pharmacy techs are treated significantly better than the rest of the workers even though all the pharmacy techs that were in my training knew less than everyone else. I felt as though the VP discriminates against people who look different because she is old fashioned. She only praised certain people. They say the pay is competitive but I disagree, we should have been paid more. Not really any perks or work culture and people aren't very friendly. I felt as though I was constantly watched like a hawk and not treated like an adult.

Pros

Management is good to work with, coworkers are really helpful, especially when your first newcomer everyone wants to see you succeed in your position. Pay his average..

Cons

Working for a TPA, is not the easiest. Each client that you work with has special service instructions to follow training is pretty much based on your level of experience and ability to adapt quickly to the new position to learn the claim system and requirements as quickly as you can there is no formal training.
