Pros

- Work on cool product -benfits are okay

Cons

- The management team lack basic skills of good managers often crossing professional boundaries. -long hours -alot of mirco mangement -workplace bulling -if your looking for an environment to be a true creative they will lock you in a box to think one way - alot of bad treatment and high pressure - A huge lack of distrust in company culture -lack of diversity and microaggressions are high despite the CEO making attempts to educate the company on diversity and inclusion and racial injustice makes no difference! -Managers only really care about their Career Development and themselves and alot of the time are a mess! the engineers seem to know more about projects as there are some mangers that lack experience.

Thank you for your feedback and contributions to Craft. I appreciate that you see value in our product and benefits. I’m also saddened to learn of your stressful and difficult experience at the company. In terms of managerial skills, we are a startup with gaps to address, and we are working hard on that. We have just hired a new Head of People Operations that will be laser focused on manager training, performance management processes, and creating a strong culture of belonging and psychological safety. We have always strived to hold managers accountable and as you mention, our deep desire is to educate the company on the importance of diversity, inclusion and addressing injustice. That said, consistent with our value of “Humility,” we (myself included) are constantly learning and improving (from both successes and setbacks). Thank you again for your feedback. Respectfully, Ilya Levtov (CEO)

Pros

I've had an incredible experience working at Craft. Definitely the best work culture I've experienced: the team feels supportive, welcoming, and really high-caliber (top educations/employer logos and very insightful). Work-life balance is well respected at the SF office and it's a team who I have genuinely become friends with. Craft has been around a while and, as with all startups, experienced a recent pivot after getting more data on where its market fit is. It is clear the largest buy-in from customers is with the federal government agencies so the company focus has shifted to prioritize that rather than boiling the ocean and expending limited team resources on commercial enterprises with contracts a small fraction of the size and slow to ramp up spend. It seems that company is hitting an inflection point with this new focus both on the product and GTM side. There is a rapid pace of roadmap development with some really exciting revamps with AI. The government contracts are negotiating substantial expansions which is proof that there is product-market-fit with the government with a critical use case which is exciting. It's a really exciting time to join and I am hopeful for the future of Craft.

Cons

Recent pivot led to company downsizing. Has taken a long time and many pivots to find product-market fit, but recent developments with federal government seem to show an exciting and stable direction.

Pros

I really enjoyed the hybrid work schedule and the office environment. The culture was collaborative, and being able to spend time in the office while maintaining flexibility was a significant positive aspect of the role.

Cons

I had hoped to grow into an Account Executive role, but there was never a clear path or development plan in place to make that transition possible.
