      Pros

      Plenty of freedom to research and write about topics that interest you within your coverage sector and to collaborate in cross sector pieces if you are proactive. Loose management structure, good for those looking for little structure/management oversight. You can run your sector as a little business in a sense. Seems to have good work-life balance

      Cons

      No set training program for juniors, you will have to learn a lot on your own. Company is a little lacking/disorganized on the technology/training/HR front, but nothing egregious. This seems to be improving post Fitch integration. Pay seems to be a little behind the curve.

      Pros

      Wonderful coworkers, great culture, daily snacks, generous benefits and time off. I sincerely looked forward to coming in every day.

      Cons

      Pay was under market standard which I didn’t learn until after I was let go. I was often stretched thin due to layoffs of other departments where those job responsibilities suddenly became mine, with little to no coverage for my own time off. Layoffs and turnover are extremely common because of the Fitch acquisition eliminating roles and departments and seem to happen with no warning
