Pros

Very flexible with your schedule. Pleasant coworkers and always helpful. Getting to see your hard work become a tangible thing. Reasonable people that will listen to your concerns. Pto was lenient if you submit your request far enough in advance. Will need to do some overtime but not excessively.

Cons

Disorganized. Severely understaffed/over bid projects. A ratio of 5:2 projects managers to drafters. There's a lot of work but no one to draw it for the clients. Pay is lower than average for the area and for experience level. I was started barely above the minimum wage with a 4 year degree in the field. Turnover is somewhat high. I've been around the longest out of almost everyone in the office. I've seen 2 project managers and 2 drafters come and go within weeks of being hired. People that work hard are paid low and quit or get let go, yet people that cause issues in the workplace are allowed to stay. In my field there's not really a way to move up.

Pros

Never bored! Fun team of genuinely nice people. Okay salary. Flexible with my learning curve and time-off requests.

Cons

Probably shouldn't be complaining about this but the free snacks were making me fat. I also wish they had better retirement benefits.

Pros

-A really nice place to become involved in the different stages that bring a project to completion. -A dynamic place to learn and grow, the work atmosphere is very friendly and we help each other to get the work done. -If you are good and responsible with what you do you can grow within the company, we've had people starting at Artisan level that are project managers now. -Free snacks for lunch time. -Management is open to talk to you on how to improve project completion and operational processes in a nice manner. -We get to work for big IT companies making furniture and more, but also have smaller projects and that adds to our ability to deal with all kinds of situations.

Cons

-It is a business that is still growing and we could improve our operational processes. -We could use some more coordination defining more what our roles are within the company.
