Great coworkers, but management and HR fall short - Director Cresset Employee Review

Fast paced culture at a rapidly growing company. Excellent benefits and great place to work. Size has created great investment opportunities.

Many advisors have clients of very different AUM levels.

In the beginning, when the company was still new and relatively small, it had great benefits and seemed to care about development. The hybrid policy was great and most of the people were amazing to work with.

The don’t actually have a real HR team. There’s an attempt at “development” but wit recent new leadership and an attempt to maximize shareholder value, there are layoffs and cuts disguised as PIPs- that come out of nowhere. With no action items listed to improve. A strange place to work, to say the least. Most people feel on edge and stressed. The espouse “amazing culture” and yet everyone lives in the dark about what’s happening. If you want a future as an advisor there, prepare to find and source your own clients. And prepare to be fired if you don’t.
