Pros

Great atmosphere, with constant changes to learn and grow in. Values life outside of work and connecting their employees. Managers genuinely want to have successes within their teams and listen and understand your direction.

Cons

Communication is lacking from the Paris headquarters to trickle down to local teams, and there seems to be a disconnect between internal teams that may have similar issues. This could be a growing pain, but would increase efficiency.

Hello there, Thank you so much for taking the time to submit a review on Glassdoor! Each employee's feedback is critical to us, and we appreciate the honesty and candor. It sounds like overall you're enjoying the Criteo atmosphere and work ethic, which is awesome. But at the same time you're right to call out the growing pains we have. We've globalized and expanded so quickly that sometimes communication seems disjointed, issues might seem redundant, or things might slip through the cracks. We're working hard to target these. If there are specific examples of areas you see could be improved, please do raise these directly with your functional leadership or local HR. This is important to us! When everyone's running 100 miles an hour, it's easy for something to be overlooked by mistake. Your direct feedback could make all the difference. Thank you again!!

Pros

Smart, hardworking people at the individual contributor level (many of whom are now gone). Little micro-managing, but that’s because everyone’s bandwidth is near 0

Cons

Post–new CEO, the company has descended into complete chaos. There is no transparency around decisions that impact teams and roles. There have been consistent strategy, personnel, and supplier changes with no explanation, accountability, or follow-through. Cons, continued: Employee input and performance do not matter. Decisions feel driven by appeasing BoD and optics rather than results, input and reality. The culture has become a corporate hellscape of: Endless reorganizations with no clear rationale, including layoffs with no reasoning Vague all-hands meetings that avoid real issues, even when directly asked A massive disconnect between the C-suite and day-to-day reality Eroded trust and growing position insecurity Middle managers incentivized to prioritize managing up & executive optics over team advocacy “Return to Office” policy put in place when promised a “Work from Anywhere” position, where the RTO policy differs across employees’ location Little to no growth opportunities despite high performance Under-market average compensation that was justified by locale, “Work from Anywhere”, and flexibility — which was recently rolled back A clear favoritism to those that “talk the talk” vs “performance with numbers”
