Pros
Variety of work. Typically great staff/senior staff/managers to work with. Great PTO (if you can find time to take it). Remote work (this isn’t considered standard or a benefit but is used as a reward and favoritism is alive and well) Flexible dress policy. A pair of jeans and polo/blouse are everyday wear unless you have a client meeting. Health/Vision/Dental are great. Phenomenal support staff! Well planned company functions.
Cons
Strong micro management. Many of the perks claimed are only if you’re on the partners good side. Efficiency seems to be penalized instead of encouraged that would then allow the firm to take on more clients. “Progress managers/CareerCoaches” are a joke that do not have your best interest in mind. No one, including the senior managers and partners seem to have any clue what’s going on. Expectations and reality couldn’t be further apart on every level. No real paternity/maternity leave. They expect you to use your PTO and short term/long term disability.
