      Pros

      Much better work / life balance than big four accounting firms... Not much busy after normal busy season unlike busy all year around at big four firms.

      Cons

      As the size of the firm is much smaller than big four firms, there is not enough resources when you have complicated issues and questions. You are pretty much on your own.

      Pros

      As a working parent there is a ton of flexibility and understanding for my needs at home. This has enabled me to work through busy seasons without a ton of extra stress.

      Cons

      Recent return to office mandates are hard for employees who were hired on remote and don’t live near an office.
