Pros

In the Microsoft Business silo, new-hires are given ample responsibility which is a chance to gain immediate hands-on experience.

Cons

Once a new-hire executes their hands-on experience (go-live for example) there is very little feedback or guidance from upper level management. Also, if you choose D365 implementation, know that you may get stuck hopping between dated manufacturing facilitates helping with go-live rather than being given the chance to go through the full software development lifecycle. Not the worst place to end up, but also not the most growth potential given the lack of mentorship and smaller scale projects with no flashy clients.

Pros

As a working parent there is a ton of flexibility and understanding for my needs at home. This has enabled me to work through busy seasons without a ton of extra stress.

Cons

Recent return to office mandates are hard for employees who were hired on remote and don’t live near an office.
